Toxic Spill!

TOXIC SPILL!....WAIT, IT'S DEER PEE
The employees of a state public health lab in Frankfort, KY., were only following company protecol, but they must be the laughing stock of the Bluegrass State's deer hunters. Here's what happened when an unidentified brown liquid was found in a lab supervisors office: More than a dozen people were quarantined, four with "primary exposure" and 12 with "secondary exposure"; 100 people were evacuated from the building; the four people who were in direct contact with the foul-smelling fluid were taken to a hospital for checkups; two people went to their physicians for "minor symptoms" (your guess is as good as ours); and a National Guard hazardous materials crew was dispatched to examine the liquid, which it identified as animal urine. At press time, Kentucky State Police were still investigating how the deer pee got in the office. (Associated Press, 07/30/05)
