Pipe Organ

While in Grand Rapids, I had to go over and see the progress that my
brother, Don is making on building Bill Tuft's home pipe organ. Bill lives not far from downtown and has built a large addition onto his house several years ago to install this organ. Bill doesn't play the organ but is fascinated by pipe organs and knows quite a bit about organ music. It's a long story but the bottom line is that Bill is convinced that God wanted him to have this organ and He has made it possible for him to own it.

Fun in the Snow

On Friday, Bill, Kathy, Paul and I went skiing! The wind hadcalmed and the temperature was in the upper 20s with about
5-6 inches of snow.

Thanksgiving

Wow! A week has gone by and I haven't found the time to brag about our trip to Michigan to celebrate Thanksgiving with the family! Well, we seemed to be able to dodge slippery roads all of the way there and back. In fact, the first day we had sunshine all the way from Charleston, WV to Indiana. Ran into a little snow and slippery for about 4 miles around South Haven, MI.

But......... Look what we got up to the first morning in Grand Rapids!

We took a nice walk near Reeds Lake. Cattails look pretty in the snow.

On Thanksgiving day, we woke up to 13 degrees F. and it warmed up to 20 degrees! Wind was 25-30 m.p.h. and it snowed most of the day. A good day to stay inside and eat turkey!
